Rogar International Corporation has been the premier name in speed wine openers since it’s introduction of the solid brass Vintner in 1975. Like Rogar’s current Champion and Estate wine openers, the Vintner was based on the “Champion Cork Removal System” made by the Arcade Manufacturing Company using Michael Redlinger’s American patent of 1897. Even then, the Champion had the unique ability to uncork and recork. Rogar took the original’s mechanical concept and has continued to enhance it with modern materials.
